The worst, most depraved oligarchs on earth have been laying the ground work their rape-fest under the guise of a Christo-Fascist dictatorship for a while now.
As we've seen in other misogynistic patriarchal theocracies (Iran, ISIS, Afghanistan etc), the break down of civil society, so that sexist thugs & depraved brutes can rape at will (economically as well as sexually), is kind of the point.

There's three pillars to setting up a rape free-for-all in your country-that-used-to-be-a-democracy-with-rule-of-law:
1. Demonize Feminists. Because, Feminists think women & men are equal and that men should not rape women (or children, or each other) - so that's problematic. Solution: lots of anti-feminist propaganda on the oligarch-owned social media platforms. Red pill everything!
2. Rampant clergy sex abuse perpetrated by the preachers of "family values". When you want 90% of conservative Christians to vote for a pack of pedophiles & rapists, you have to get them used to venerating & covering up for abusive authoritarian leaders. So, you have to rape them & molest them, & their children, a lot, so they get used to it and don't think it's strange for the church to uphold a Rape-ocracy.
3. Projection. When you know your goal is a Christo-Fascist Rape-ocracy presided over by the worst oligarchs on earth, it's very important that you get in first with the projections and accuse your political opponents of being a cabal of pedophiles (so people are so disctracted trying to fend off such outrageous, baseless, accusations that they don't look too closely at YOU & your pack of *actual* rapists & pedophiles.) Solution: Pizzagate, Frazzledrip and Qanon, of course. Epstein Diddy Diddy Epstein blah blah blah flood the zone with baseless claims and conspiracy theories so they're so obsessed with boxing at shadows that they kind of lose focus of the fact that Trump, Musk, Dershovitz, Kennedy et al actually *were* close associates of Epstein, Diddy and a host of other sex traffickers & perverts.
So now that Putin, Prighozin, Murdoch & Musk oligarchy have purchased media & social media and completely played the gullible American public and bought their election, all that's left is for the Rape-ocracy to take their seats.
